Recent research indicates that Australian insurers are trailing their global counterparts in preparedness for emerging risks, particularly those associated with artificial intelligence (AI) and cyber threats.
This preparedness gap has reached its widest point in four years, raising concerns about the industry's ability to manage these rapidly evolving challenges.

The study highlights a 6.6% lag in Australian insurers' readiness compared to global peers.
